So It's Been a While...

Things have been a little busy around here lately. Work has been crazy, we've had a lot to do around the house and Liz has started play practice. I'm excited because tonight is the first night in about three weeks that I've been able to come home and not do a darned thing.

The house is almost complete, as far as the major work goes. They reinforced the foundation, filled in all the cracks and we are just waiting for them to re-stretch the carpet. Once Liz's play is over we will figure out what to do with all of the extra space. We are not entirely sure what to do with the loft area and we are trying to figure out what to do with a 75 gallon salt water aquarium.

I haven't been entirely gluten-free lately. I have noticed quite a bit of exhaustion, more than normal. My eustachian tubes have been open lately which is another (weird) sign that I have ingested gluten. Liz made me some gluten-free brownies the other day that were amazing. I need to have her start posting her recipes.

Settling In

Things are starting to find their places and our house is starting to
feel like a home. All of our parents have now seen the house and they
all seemed to like it. Things have started to settle down for now but
that won't last long. Liz starts play practice next week, so it will
be another rough 8 weeks. This is the last play though so that is a
blessing.

I'll have a little extra time on my hands in the coming weeks so I
should be able to get quite a bit done around the house. That or I'll
get a good amount of "Wii time" in...
